Our Home Study is Done!

We have spent much of the last two days with our social worker. She came to our home to meet our kids and see the apartment, and then we went out for the interview portion of the home study. She asked about the story of how we met, our marriage, our kids, our finances, our desire to adopt, and so much more. Then Matt met with her for his individual session, mostly telling her the story of his life. This morning I met with her for my individual session. We talked while getting foot massages. :) We then had our last session with her over lunch today and spent much of that talking about some of the issues we may deal with post adoption. The first session was pretty long and tiring, but after that things were pretty relaxed. It's such a relief to have this huge step behind us. She should be finished with the report in two to three weeks and then we'll be able to send all of our paperwork in!
