A Morning in the Park

One of the things that is hardest about living in a big city is finding green space for the kids to run, climb, pick flowers, and enjoy the outdoors.  We recently found a new park not far from our apartment that offers things we hadn't found elsewhere.  We headed out there this morning with the kids and enjoyed the outdoors.

This picture of Kai cracks us up!  Every time he blows bubbles, he closes his eyes and blows through the rather large gap between his two front teeth.  This is a perfect picture!  And yes, my baby got a haircut.  "Davey", a little boy with special needs in his 2 year old Chinese preschool class, pulled Kai's hair multiple times a day.  Kai was the only little boy without a buzz cut and the only little boy who got "picked on".  So, this mama had to take care of her baby boy and eliminate the problem...no, not sweet "Davey", just Kai's hair.

Eden absolutely adores Kai.  This picture of her with him is so sweet.  The closer she is to him, the happier she is.

So cute!! I am glad you found some outdoor space to run and play. I have tried to call back again a couple of times. Maybe we'll catch up this week again. We miss you. Juice
