It's been a BIG week!

Things have really started moving this week! On Thursday we got word that our home study was sent out. As of right now, according to the FedEx website, our home study is in Guangzhou, China. It's expected to arrive here on Tuesday. On Thursday we'll fly to the Guangzhou consulate, and on Friday morning we'll file the I-600A, otherwise known as the "Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition". Basically it gives us permission to bring the kids into the US.

The other big news of the week is that we woke up Saturday morning to a referral for a little boy! Little A is 1 year 10 months old. We are waiting on his medical report before things can be official, but no problems are anticipated. Little A and Little W are both in the same care center in the Mekele region of Ethiopia and even come from the same town within that region. We are excited that they share this common link. Soon I'll share more about how we knew these two little ones were meant to be a part of our family.
