Our journey to add two Ethiopian children to our family through adoption and all of the joys that follow!
Who are we?
We are a family of six living in China--a dad, a mom, two children by birth, two children brought to us through adoption from Ethiopia.

Adoption Timeline
- February 20, 2010--We are officially a family of 6, together at last, together forever!
- February 17--Embassy date for Littler A
- February 3--Embassy date for Little W
- January 20--4th court date, Littler A is finally a Snead!
- January 6--3rd court date, failed again for Littler A
- December 10--2nd court date, passed for Little W, failed for Littler A
- November 11--1st court date, failed for both children
- September 21-29--Traveled to Ethiopia to visit Little W and Littler A
- September 14--Dossier arrived in Ethiopia
- August 21--Submitted I-600A in Guangzhou
- August 18--Home study arrived in the mail
- August 15--Received referral for a 1 year 10 month old boy, "Littler A"
- August 4--Officially accepted Little W's referral
- July 2--Received referral for an almost three year old girl, "Little W"
- June 23 & 24--Home Study
- June 3-23, 2009--Working hard to get paperwork together in time for the home study
- June 3, 2009--Signed contract with social worker
- May 25, 2009--Signed IAG contract
- May 17--Announce that we are pursuing adoption
- May 24--Applied with Social Worker who will do our home study
- May 3, 2009--Applied to International Adoption Guides (IAG)
- February 2009--Started considering adoption from Ethiopia; started researching the country and adoption agencies

Ah, ha, ha!! It starts so young! I caught Gav flipping through a Lands End swimsuit magazine this weekend. Really? Really?!
Addie would fit right in with these boys! We just pulled out the doll (you guys gave her) and the stroller (my mom gave her) she got for her birthday and she LOVES to push it around. She is a little crazy with it, though, as the stroller wrecks quite a bit. Hey, at least they boys seem to be playing happily together! Although I am a little nervous about the naked barbi...
