As long as all goes well with our court date, we will be in the US on November 16!!! That's less than three weeks away! We plan to do some traveling prior to going to Ethiopia to bring W and A home, and will also be preparing "our" house for a few months in the US. A wonderful family whom we have never met is allowing our family to stay in their second home during the duration of our time in the US. We don't know exactly how long that will be, but we are estimating 3-6 months depending on everyone's adjustment and the overall health of the children. Needless to say, there are things that we are going to need in order to make our stay a smooth as possible. I'm going to post the list here. If you have any of these things laying around your home and are able to let us use them during our time in the US, we would be very grateful! For the sake of collection and returning, it would be best if you are somewhere near the Charlotte or Atlanta area. Here's the list:
--One convertible carseat, preferably originating in the Atlanta area
--One or two booster seats for the kitchen table
--Two twin beds, two toddler beds, one twin and one toddler bed, or a full sized bed plus bedding
--Outdoor play toys. Yes, it will be winter, but we hope to be able to get outside for fresh air every day!
--A small potty seat/chair
--A stool or two for the bathroom sink
Leave us a comment if you can help with anything!

Michelle, you might post that on the loop, since there are several parents who are in NC and GA on there. They may have friends who could supply you with hand-me-downs, etc.
Wow! That is quick! I am really looking forward to seeing you and meeting Eden and Tobias. I have a high chair that you are welcome to use. It doesn't have the padding part or a belt, though. My grand-nephew used it though when he was about 9 months old and didn't manage to escape!
Also, you'd be welcome to all the DGCC nursery toys. We have been sharing the ones in Bethel's nursery since we've been there so ours are just sitting in my house. I'm sure it would be fine for you to take any of them home, too.
See you soon!
Martha
